Meet Tracy Kroeker - Registered Psychologist
I'm Tracy, and I'll be honest with you: I didn't build this practice to be another therapist who nods along and hands you a worksheet. I built it because I believe therapy should actually change something.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, burnout, depression, stress, and the bigger questions about identity, meaning, and what comes next. My approach is grounded in ACT — a values-based, practical framework that focuses less on managing symptoms and more on building a life worth showing up for. I also draw on CBT and Solution-Focused Therapy depending on what you need.
I've been a Registered Psychologist for 10 years, working across public health and private practice. I bring virtual therapy to clients across Alberta, Newfoundland and Labrador, Yukon, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Nunavut.
Warm, direct, and genuinely invested in your progress — that's what you'll get here.
A little more about me…
I completed my Master of Counselling degree through Gonzaga University in 2016 followed by post graduate training as a Provisional Psychologist at the Calgary Counselling Centre which wrapped up late 2017. I became a fully Registered Psychologist in early 2018.
I worked as a Behavioural Health Consultant in Primary Care through AHS for a few years. This is where I gained a foundation and passion for behavioural health coaching in brief, focussed sessions.
I decided to leave AHS and venture out on my own in late 2021, which is when TDK Counselling was born.
My experiences, both professionally and personally, have led to a passion for blending the emotional and cognitive psychological work with practical behavioural components to shift from stuck to thriving.
